The system can handle water with various levels of contaminants, including:

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS): up to 2,000 ppm

Hardness: up to 500 ppm

Chlorine: up to 5 ppm

Heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic, etc.): up to 0.1 ppm

Bacteria, viruses, and parasites: up to 99.99% removal

However, it's important to note that if the source water is highly contaminated or has extreme levels of certain contaminants, additional pre-treatment may be necessary before using the UrbanClear Tech Domestic RO System.
